Conti Borbone workshop is ready to start up again
After a few days of renovation work, the Conti Borbone bookbinding workshop has finally reopened its doors. Our team of craftsmen is ready to resume operations with renewed enthusiasm and professionalism.
The Conti Borbone bookbindery is one of the oldest and most prestigious in Milan, founded in 1873 by master bookbinder Domenico Conti Borbone. Since then, the bindery has handed down from generation to generation the passion and mastery for the art of bookbinding, producing works of great value and beauty.
In our workshop, we are able to perform all types of bookbinding, from restoring antique books to creating custom photo albums, including leather covers, wire bindings, custom boxes and more. Each of our jobs is the result of craftsmanship and a search for quality materials to ensure a unique and durable product for our customers.
During the renovations, we improved the equipment, renovated the furniture and lighting to provide a more comfortable and welcoming environment.
Now that the workshop is ready to start up again, we look forward to welcoming you and fulfilling your requests. We look forward to seeing you Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Via Giulio Romano, 29 (entrance Via Agnesi 18), in Milan. You can also contact us by phone at 02 86450090 or by email at info@contiborbone.com. We will be happy to provide you with a free estimate and advise you on the solution that best suits your needs.
We thank you for your trust and wish you a good read!
I am Angelo Marchesi, a bookbinder following in the footsteps of my family, who owns the Bookbinding Conti Borbone, founded over a hundred years ago. My passion is to preserve and enhance ancient books, restoring them with care and respect. I also enjoy creating new volumes, personalized and original, using high-quality materials and traditional techniques. Bookbinding, for me, is an art that demands dedication, creativity, and precision.
